The west wing of the house was previously used to generate income by letting it out as a holiday apartment (or gite). When we had family staying we simply opened the connecting double doors and the west wing became part of out house again. If the new owners want to retain the letting of the apartment they can have the web site set up with their letting details free of charge. The apartment includes the following: Large master bedroom with a double bed and south facing French doors opening onto the garden; 2nd bedroom smaller room with two bunk beds; Kitchen with fridge, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven, wood burning cooker and south facing French doors opening onto the garden and patio area; large fully tiled bathroom with walk-in multi head shower, bath, two sinks and bidet; separate WC with wash-hand basin; The south facing terrace acts as a sun-trap during the morning and afternoon and is an ideal place for eating outdoors.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking. Sorry, no pets, not even our own pets are allowed to stay in the apartment. We have installed a large capacity solar hot water and heating system, so there is an abundance of hot water during the summer months. For small children we have a travel cot and high chair available for loan free of charge.
