Maps: showing our location: detailed, local roads, regional, south of France

Local Directions: Turn off the A64 at junction 23 and follow signs for Cazères. Proceed South through Cazères on the D6 following signs for St Girons (D6) or Couladère (D7). Cross the bridge from Cazères to Couladère. There is only one bridge across the Garonne river in Cazères town. Having crossed the bridge you are now in Couladère. Immediately after crossing the bridge you come to a roundabout, take the first right (D7) follow this road through the village until you reach a second roundabout. Here continue straight ahead on the D7 sign posted for Saint Michel. Follow the road up the hill through the trees. When you reach the brow of the hill you will see our house appearing on your left with a green fence. Take the first left (on the brow of the hill), this narrow road is Impasse Saint Michel, our house is the first on the left, number 2, a large house with green fence and brown shutters.

Carbon Offsetting: We would like to take this opportunity to recommend some carbon offsetting schemes. Carbon offsetting schemes work by travellers putting their money into projects that aim to actively reduce or absorb the amount of carbon dioxide (widely considered to be the main cause of global warming) put into the earth's atmosphere. It can cost as little as £3.00 to offset the approximated 0.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide produced for either driving from Calais to Couladère or one passenger flying London-Toulouse-London. There are many different schemes - some of which involve tree planting and others that fund projects to make overseas communities more carbon efficient. We recommend here some schemes that meet the UK government's standard and code of practice: Pure - the Clean Planet Trust, Global Cool, Equiclimate and Carbon Offsets Ltd. However, there are many others listed on the internet.

Environmentally Friendly Discounts: If you travel to stay with us by train from the UK (or any other country that lies to the north of France) you qualify for our 10% eco-friendly discount. The enhanced eco-discount of 25% is available to those who travel here by bicycle from the UK (or any other country that lies to the north of France).
